Insomnia

During a period of consecutive insomnia, I often rose to paint between 3 and 6 in the morning this new canvas, called Insomnia rightly. This painting has a tendency towards dreamy or (bad) dream awake.

But initially it was the poem of Victor Hugo, called La Conscience, that inspired me. This poem takes up the biblical history of Cain and Abel, of which are some chosen verses:

"And Cain said," That eye always looks at me! "

The eye was in the grave and looked at Cain. "
